This unique salon, hosted by Charter 100 member Barby Barone, will feature the accomplished Lyn St. James who will lead a discussion around a variety of car related topics.
Lyn’s racing career spans decades. She was the first woman to be named Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year, two 24 Hours of Daytona wins, the 24 hours of Le Mans, Sebring, and 31 international and national closed-circuit speed records over a 20-year period. She continues in vintage racing to this day.
Named by Working Woman Magazine one of “The 350 Women who changed the world between 1976-96” and one of the “Top 100 Female Athletes of the Century” by Sports Illustrated, Lyn has an inspiring story about goal setting, determination, passion and fully utilizing all her defeats and successes to break into a world no one could have imagined possible.
